Ella Mae (Simpson) Larson

Ella Mae (Simpson) Larson, 92, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville. She was born on November 27, 1925 in Edinburgh, Indiana to William Shadrick and Sarah Ellen (Jenkins) Simpson.

Ella Mae attended the Church of God. She worked hard as a homemaker taking care of her home and family. She loved animals, raising chickens, growing plants, playing bingo and traveling. Ella Mae especially loved her kids and grandkids.

Survivors include: two sons, Dallas (Reanea) Waddell of Bloomfield and Marco (Cheryl) Dees of Greencastle; one daughter, Marty (Randy) Harris of North Fort Myers, FL; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Ruth) Simpson of Greenfield, IN; several nieces and nephews.

Ella Mae was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Sam Larson; son, Jimmy Jo; daughters, Georgia Mae and Bonnie Lou; brothers, William, Lewis and Earl Simpson; sisters, Marie Taylor and Ethel Shepherd; granddaughter, Kristi Reanea Cook and a grandson, Benjamin Waddell.

A Graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle, Indiana.
