Geraldine S. (Williams) Watson

Geraldine S. ‘Gerrie’ Watson, 68, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Linton. She was born in Linton on February 21, 1950 to Wayne and Reba (Cross) Williams. Gerrie married her loving husband, Ronald L. Watson, on March 4, 1966.

Gerrie was a homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed taking care of her home and family. Gerrie was a member of the American Legion Post #22 Ladies’ Auxiliary.

Survivors include; her husband, Ronald L. Watson, of Linton; daughter, Angie Ballard; grandchildren, Danielle Watson, Jada Grider, AJ Swaby, Kevin Ballard and Jesse Cox; great-granddaughter, Dalilah Robertson, all of Linton; two brothers, Norman Williams of Indianapolis and John Williams of Dugger; two sisters, Karen Williams of Jasonville and Lori Markle of Linton.

Gerrie was preceded in death by: her parents; one daughter, Rhonda Watson; two sons, Timmy and Daniel Ryan Watson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Rev. Sam Bush officiating. Gerrie will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 12 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
