Gladys L. Neuhausel

Gladys L. Neuhausel, 98, of Odon, formerly of Sandborn, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on July 29, 1919 in Greene County, Indiana to Clifford and Corda (Howard) Wells.

Gladys was a member of the Sandborn Baptist Church. She graduated from Marco High School in 1936 and then moved to Indianapolis in 1937. She married Alphonse M. Neuhausel on July 30, 1938. They moved to Sandborn when her husband retired from I.V. Railway in 1976. Gladys spent her life taking care of her husband and their home.

The last several years, Gladys was lovingly cared for by some special Sandborn friends and many nieces and nephews.

Gladys was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Alphonse on May 15, 1999; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Sandborn Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Pieper officiating. Gladys will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery in Sandborn.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 10 at the church.
