Margie Jean (Webber) Burch

Margie Jean Burch, 95, of Linton, Indiana, went to heaven surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Linton. She was born on January 11, 1922 in Linton to William and Ada (Templeton) Webber. She married Herbert B. Burch on March 1, 1941.

Jean was a member of the Linton First Christian Church. She loved her family and was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Jean enjoyed reading and watching the Indianapolis Colts.

Survivors include: three sons, Larry (Brenda) Burch and Terry (Dianna) Burch, both of Linton and Rodney (Martha) Burch of Florida; five grandchildren, Michelle (Brad) McKinney, Tracy (Joel) Swearingen, Tasha (Tim) McGraw, Emily (David) Hoffmann and Amanda (Cory) Lutz; eight great-grandchildren, Abbey, Alyssa, Drew, Megan, Ella, Maggie, Baxter and Annie Wren; great-grandchildren, Brantley and Eleanor Kate due in June.

Jean was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Herbert Burch; one grandson, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Warren Shake officiating. Jean will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 21 and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linton First Christian Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
