Six years ago right now we were at your funeral service, Dad. 💔 It was a beautiful tribute to you and the very last time I got to see you even though you were at rest. It was one of the saddest days of my life. It was so hard to say goodbye. I miss you so much and I pray that I will see you again. Rest well Daddy. I love you.

Hi Dad. It was 3 years ago today that we got to Terre Haute to be with you for what turned out to be the very last time. I'm so glad we had those last 10 days together. I miss you every day. I still want to pick up the phone and call you. The world is a crazy place right now and I know we would be talking about it a lot. But I know you are in a good place with Mom and Mary. It was a year ago today that we laid you to rest, Dad. It was a beautiful service. You would have been proud. You were loved and respected by so many people. John wished so desperately that he could have been there. I wish he could have been there too. We just spoke of it today. We all loved you Dad and you are greatly missed by both your families. Life goes on but there is a huge void without you. Wishing you eternal joy and peace. RIP. You were much loved and always will be.

My Sweet Dad, A year ago today we looked into each other's eyes for the very last time. I prayed when I left your side that we would see each other again but I guess it was not meant to be. I think about those last days we spent together every day and I know I must be thankful for them but in my heart I wish there could have been more time together. Happy Father's Day! Words cannot convey how much I miss you today and every day. I didn't tell you often enough what a good man and a great Dad you were. I am flooded with so many memories every day of you and the simple things you enjoyed in life. I miss being able to pick up the phone and hear your voice and your laughter but I am thankful to God for your long and happy life. I pray that you are happy and that you can still feel the love of those you have left behind.
