Tim D Blocksom

Timothy D. Blocksom of Linton, IN, passed from this life into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 14, 2017.  He was 53 years old, and the third child and only son of Bruce (Boots) and Virginia Ruth ‘Jenny’ (Campbell) Blocksom of rural Elnora.

Tim was a 1982 graduate of North Daviess High School and the first member of his family to graduate from college. He was blessed with the gift of music and began showing an interest in playing the piano at age 4. Tim’s music ability blossomed over the years and he currently served as the pianist for the Bloomfield United Methodist Church where he was a member. He had just recently completed 20 years of service in this position.

Survivors include: his mother, Jenny Blocksom of Elnora; two sisters: Emily Blocksom of Bloomington, IN, and Nancy (Paul) Albertson of Odon, IN; and his friend Ken Dove. 

Tim was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon, with Dick Smith and Rev. Bill Talbott officiating. Tim will be laid to rest at the Elnora Fairview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, December 18th, and on Tuesday, December 19th, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.
