Dorothy Louise (Pieper) Browning

Dorothy Louise Browning, 94, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born on December 19, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Franklin and Florence (Waldkoetter) Pieper. Dorothy married George Browning on June 28, 1946.

Dorothy was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She spent many years working at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Family left to cherish Dorothy’s memory includes: three sons, Paul Browning, John Browning and James Browning; one daughter, Patricia Plutz; grandchildren, Michael Browning, Amanda Browning, Stephen Browning, Marc Rios, Sarah Rios Rodriguez, Adriana Rios, Ryan Browning, Lindsay Browning Rule, Greg Browning, Sean Browning, Phillip Browning, Zachary Browning and Laura Browning Erdmann; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Frederick Pieper and one sister, Elizabeth Pieper Tague.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Browning.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
