Gene was my buddy, he ALWAYS went out his way to speak to me and was a kind. gentle man. I had told my mom about this man I had met when I was working at Wal-mart, come to find out, he was a classmate of hers and someone she considered a friend as well. My heart goes out to the Meng family , I lost my mom in May and it hasn't been easy with the holidays and all approaching....may you find peace in the following days as you lay him to rest, he was a GREAT man!!! I know you'll be dancing in heaven my sweet friend!!!

I loved this man with all my heart! He has always been there with open arms for me, I will miss him beyond words. When my father died, gene stood up and told me that he would be my father whenever I needed one., and he was true to his word. I am praying so hard for momma Jo and the rest of the family. I hope you know I love you all. I always have and always will! Bless you all!
