Elouise 'Lou' (Stamper) Roberts

Elouise ‘Lou’ Roberts, 71, of Sandborn, Indiana, went to Heaven on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at her home. She was born on January 2, 1948 in Crites, West Virginia to Gerald and Mary (Workman) Stamper.  Lou married Fred Ellis Roberts on June 1, 1964.

Lou had worked at the Blue Jay Junction, Park Inn Motel and Good Samaritan Hospital. She enjoyed attending yard sales and visiting with family and friends.

Family left to cherish the memory of Lou include: two sons, Fred (Charlotte) Roberts of Vincennes and James (Ronda) Roberts of Sandborn; daughter, Mandy Roberts (Wayne Jones); grandchildren, Laura Sanders, Justin Roberts, Chet Roberts, Miranda Roberts, Darrian Baker, Jordan Roberts and Karley Roberts; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Gross; three brothers, Cecil Marcum, George Stamper and Randall Stamper.

Lou was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Fred Roberts; great-grandson, Demetri Shue and one brother, Bobby.

Funeral services to honor the life of Lou will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Sandborn Baptist Church with Bryan Sanders officiating. Lou will be laid to rest in Morris Chapel Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, December 10 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, all at the church.
