Jeff S. Greenwood

Jeff S. Greenwood, 59, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Linton. He was born on September 30, 1958 in Linton to Robert L. and Kathryn A. (Wakefield) Greenwood.

Jeff was a member of the IBEW Local #1400. He was employed with the City of Linton as Head Operator at the Water Treatment Plant with 37 years of service.

Survivors include: his best friend, Cathy S. (Sims) Greenwood of Linton; two sons, James (DeAnna) Greenwood of Newton, IL and Roger (Kaylee) Greenwood of Linton; two daughters, Kaki Coleman of Terre Haute and Laura (Matt Roberts) Greenwood of Linton; eight grandchildren, Jaden, Samara, Harlee, Stephen, Lyndsay, Zacharey, Abbigayl and one on the way; one brother, John (Chris) Greenwood, of Princeton; two sisters, Mary Ann (Jim) Mason of Princeton and Autumn Greenwood of Clarksville, AR.

Jeff was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Roger L. Greenwood and son-in-law, Chad Coleman.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton. Jeff will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, January 12 and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to Shriner’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
