Jerry D. Sherrill

Jerry D. Sherrill, 75, of Linton, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 22 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. He was born on September 4, 1943 in Charleston, Indiana to Sam and Marge (Daughtery) Sherrill.

Jerry was a member of the Linton Church of Christ. He was a truck driver for Celdon Trucking and Griffin Industries. Jerry enjoyed working on old cars and watching his grandchildren.

Family left to cherish the memory of Jerry includes: one daughter, Suzanne House of Odon; four sons, Mike Morgan of Midland, Jack (Denise) Morgan of Huntingburg, John David Sherrill of Linton and Eric (Tammy) Sherrill of Odon; sixteen grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Sherrill and Bill Sherrill, both of Florida.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Dugger Cemetery with Bro. Pat Kelley officiating.
