Naoma E. (Steele) LeDune

Naoma E. LeDune, 76, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with loved ones at her side, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Linton. She was born on April 21, 1942 in Linton to William and Alberta (Miller) Steele. Naoma married her sweetheart, Norman E. LeDune, on July 30, 1958.

Naoma owned and operated Sun N’ Wrap Tanning Salon when living in Lompoc, California. She enjoyed painting ceramics, dancing and gardening. Naoma was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include: her loving husband of almost 60 years, Norman LeDune; two daughters, Vanessa Robertson of Santa Maria, CA and Sheila LeDune of Linton; two sons, Randy LeDune of Santa Maria, CA and Tim LeDune of Santa Barbara, CA; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Blanton, Sharon Steele Sheagley and Debra C. Boothe; eight brothers, Billy Bell, Jim Steele, Fred Steele, Mike Steele, David Steele, Robert Steele, Greg Steele and Danny Steele.

Naoma was preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Jeanie Carson and Mildred M. ‘Micki’ Angleton; one brother, Johnny Steele and one grandchild, Michael Haas.

Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Linton at a later date. Details will be posted on our website when available.
