Neal Joyce Martin, 83, of French Lick, IN, sweetly went to heaven on September 11th at her residence. She was born on September 9, 1936 in Pee Wee Valley, Kentucky to Douglas and Francis (Neal) Clore. Joyce was married to her loving husband of 44 years, Larry A. Martin, on December 31, 1974.
Joyce was a member of Central Barren United Methodist Church in French Lick, Indiana. Joyce was a true-life partner and served faithfully by Larry’s side for 35 years in the ministry. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her husband and her family. She also worked as a bookkeeper.
Family left to cherish Joyce’s memory include: her husband, Larry A. Martin; four sons, Doug Ingram of Florida, Martin Ingram of Owensboro, Kentucky, Bill (Diane) Martin of Pennsylvania and Jim (Benita) Ingram of French Lick, Indiana; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Clore and Francis Clore Baker.
A celebration of life for Joyce will be on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Beechwood Christian Church, 8535 W State Rd. 56, French Lick, Indiana with Pastor John Moffatt officiating. Family and friends may gather from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Joyce will be laid to rest at Central Barren United Methodist Church Cemetery, Central Barren, Indiana.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in memory of Joyce to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at msfoucs.org.
