Pauline E. (Meeks) Bedwell

Pauline E. Bedwell, 95, of Sullivan, Indiana, formerly of Dugger, passed peacefully in her sleep, on July 18, 2019 at Sullivan, Indiana. She was born on April 14, 1924 in Gambill, Indiana to Jess and Rulah (Gibbs) Meeks. She married her sweetheart, Oscar L. Bedwell on May 15, 1946.

Pauline was a homemaker, wife, beloved mother and grandmother. She loved taking care of her home and family.

Family left to cherish the memory of Pauline includes: two daughters, Lois June Hubble of Jasonville and Carmen Lorraine (Terry) Hudson of Linton; seven grandchildren, Tina (Rob) Harms, Penny Bradley, Carmen E. Bradley, Jess Hubble, Ryan Hubble, Adon M. Hudson and Aaron M. Hudson; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Oscar Bedwell; great-granddaughter, Aniesa McCray; twin brother, Paul Meeks; brothers, Rollie Meeks and Charles Meeks; sisters, Juanita Gray, Mable Bell, Elizabeth Blake and Beverly May.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor John Winders officiating. Pauline will be laid to rest in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Dugger.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 21 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church in Linton. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
