Alexya James Rogers, newborn baby girl of Nakita R. Rogers of Linton, shared a few precious moments with her mother before joining the angels in heaven on Monday, September 27, 2010. She was born on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Greene County General Hospital in Linton where she passed away a few minutes after birth.

Survivors include her mother and her mother's boyfriend, Nakita and Kevin VanAlstine; four sisters, Bretni, Jaiden, Syndei and Zayda; grandmother, Sharon Hansel of Linton; grandfather, Ulysses Hansel of Texas; aunts, Margaret Hansel and Kelsey Hansel of Linton and Brandi McHale of Texas and uncle, Ulysses Nikolas Hansel of California.

Alexya will be loved and missed.

Memorial services will be held at a later date for the family of Alexya at the Anderson-Poindexter Linton Chapel.
