Alice A. (Myers) Anderson, of Linton, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Autumn Trace Assisted Living. She was born on August 23, 1931 to Jabish Myers and Golda (Plummer) Myers. Alice and her beloved husband, Wayne, were married on September 24, 1949.

Alice was a member of the Sandborn Christian Church where she served as a pianist for over 60 years. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing, doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Her favorite pastime was following around her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, to watch them compete in sports.

Family left to cherish the memories of Alice include her daughter: Shari (KD) Hostetter of Lyons; Son: Roger Anderson of Fort Wayne; Grandchildren: Mark (Nikki) Hostetter, Brock (Ericka) Hostetter, and Amy (Dan) Delaney, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Alice was preceded in death by: her parents, her spouse; Wayne E. Anderson, brother; Max Myers, sisters; Mable Yagle and Ruth McKee.

Friends and family may gather at Sandborn Christian Church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026, and the Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 6, 2026. Alice will be laid to rest at the Sandborn Cemetery.
