Alice A. Denman, 91, of Linton, IN, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the Linton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 7, 1920, in Greene County, to Charles Chelton and Jessie May (Wilson) Denman.

Alice was a member of the New Covenant Church in Linton. She was employed with General Motors until her retirement in 1985.

Alice is survived by one sister: Jessie Raney of Linton and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wayne, Warren and Charles Denman and one sister, Loretta C. 'Katie' Richardson.

A private funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 3, 2012, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Pastor Randy Raney officiating. Interment will follow at the Olive Branch Cemetery in Linton, IN. There will be no public visitation or viewing.

The Denman family has entrusted these services with the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel, Linton, Indiana.
