Anna Mae Wagoner, 87 of Sandborn, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born in Greene County, Indiana on December 13, 1926 to Coy and Sadie (Spencer) Williams. Anna Mae married Merlin F. Wagoner on July 23, 1944.
Anna Mae was a member of the Linton Church of Christ. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, taking care of the farm and especially attending sporting events of her grandchildren.
Survivors include: one daughter, Marsha (Jack) Wall of Linton; one son, Coy W. (Linda) Wagoner of Shreveport, LA; seven grandchildren: Tommy (Sarah) Wall, Rebecca (Paul) Nagy, Levi Wall, Heather (Rob) French, Heidi (Guillaume) Jaubert, Coy F. Wagoner, John Wagoner; six great-grandchildren, Curtis, Maranna and Katie Wall, Holden and Silas Nagy, Enali Jaubert; sister, Eloise Sanders of Sandborn; one daughter-in-law, Jackie Wagoner and special caregivers, Arlene and Nathan Miller.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Merlin F. Wagoner; one son, Curtis O. Wagoner; two grandchildren, John Paul Wagoner and Sarah Jane Wall; one great-grandchild, Grace Ann Nagy and two sisters, Clara Belle McKee and Edith M. Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Anna Mae's memory to the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn with James Stone officiating. Interment will follow.
Family and friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton on Friday, October 17 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.
