Anna Lee Wright, 89, of Linton, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the Linton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Marco, Indiana, on July 31, 1919, she was the daughter of Curtis R. and Laura M. (West) Heaton. She married Gail Wright in August of 1939.

Anna Lee was a homemaker and enjoyed family camping events when her children and grandchildren were young. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, the Ladies' Elks BPO #866, and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.

Surviving family includes a daughter, Luanne (Tom) Bucci of Bloomington; a son, Gordon (Deborah) Wright of Linton; four grandchildren: Ann (Jay) Gainey of Linton, Arin (Matt) Aldrich of Indianapolis, Maria (Raul) Bucci-Orozco of New York City, and Reid Bucci of Chicago; three great grandchildren: Madeleine, Corinne, and Charlotte; and long time family friend, Bill Richardson.

Anna Lee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gail Wright, two brothers, Samuel and Darrell Heaton and a sister Eula Berns.

The family has requested memorial contributions to be made to the Ronald McDonald House/Riley Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Rick Tribby officiating. Interment will follow at Linton's Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2009, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday.
