Barbara E. Godman, 85, of Nashville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, October 31, 2016 in Nashville. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on January 5, 1931 to Joseph F. and Margaret E. (Hudson) Chamberlain. Barbara married her loving husband Robert F. Godman on August 20, 1980.
Barbara was a member of Ellettsville Christian Church, Tri Kappa and was a homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, drawing, painting, taking care of her home and family. Barbara was formerly employed at Bender Lumber as a Kitchen Designer, Ellettsville Journal and Thermagas Propane.
Survivors include: her husband, Robert F. Godman of Nashville, IN; son, Mike Page of Boonville, IN; daughters, Debbie (Terry) Frenz of West Harrison, IN and Brenda (Edward) Wojdyla of Nashville, IN; step-son, Mark (Peggy) Godman of Florida; step-daughter, Sherri (Gary) Seib of Evansville, IN; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Shirley) Chamberlain of Switz City, IN, Richard (Joann) Chamberlain of Terre Haute, IN, Tony Chamberlain of Lakeland, FL, and Garry (Sherry) Chamberlain of New Castle, IN; sister, Darlene Goodman of Linton, IN and sister-in-law's Anita Chamberlain of Avon, IN and Darlene Chamberlain of Craig, CO.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Winfred Eugene Page, daughter, Kathy Page and brothers, Ted and Larry Chamberlain.
A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Barbara will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 4 at the funeral home.
