Barry Hubbell, 61, of Jasonville, IN, went peacefully to meet the Lord in his sleep, on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville. He was born on October 14, 1952 in Linton, IN to Roy and Martha Jane (Griffith) Hubbell

Barry was a licensed Embalmer/Funeral Director for 35 years, retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Lawton Street Christian Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Cheryl Hubbell of Indianapolis and Samantha (KC) Crane of Midland; one grandson, Kingston Crane; his mother, Martha Jane Hubbell of Vicksburg; two brothers, Jimmie (Carol) Hubbell of Linton and Jerry (Linda) Hubbell of Mesquite, NV; one sister, Karen (Gene) Petry of Linton; nieces, Debra Keller, Kathy Herndon, Jennifer Cunningham and Julie Clark; nephew, Jeff Hubbell; great nieces, great nephews and many close friends.

Barry was preceded in death by: his father (1985); one daughter, Jessica Hubbell (1999) and one granddaughter, Adrienne Hubbell (1999).

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Barry's memory to the Jasonville Public Library. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Bro. Josh Hubbell officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 3:00 PM.
