Bert G. Chesterfield, Jr., 54, of Linton and formerly of Dugger passed away Tuesday morning in Terre Haute, IN. He was born on October 17, 1951 to Bert G. and Eva Mae (Hickman) Chesterfield. Bert was a Truck Driver for 12 years and also served as Worthington Town Marshall for 14 years and he retired in 2000. He is survived by his son Bert G. Chesterfield, III of Jasonville, IN and his daughter Brenda G. Chesterfield of Jasonville, IN. Bert is also survived by three brothers, Mike Chesterfield of Dugger, IN, Jim Chesterfield of St. Menard, Dan Chesterfield of Bloomington, IN, two sisters, Bonnie Evans of Worthington, IN and Lorenda Forney of Trenton, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers John and Jerry Chesterfield, and one sister Biance Chesterfield. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Friday at Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, IN.
