Betty F. Mooney, 79, of Worthington, passed away Sunday, May 13th, 2007, at Glenburn Home. Born in Greene Co., on May 29, 1927, she was the daughter of Orman and Bonnie (Bruce) Bough. On July 13, 1946, she married James J. Mooney where his passed away February 2, 1989. Betty was a member of Ladies Aux. American Legion Post # 479 in Lyons.

Survivors include her son, Joe R. Mooney of Etna Green, IN; one grandson, Christopher Mooney of Warsaw, IN and one great grandchild. She was also survived by two brothers, Cletus Bough of Lyons and Ona Bough of Dundee, FL; two sisters, Mary Henderson and Katherine Hensley both of Worthington. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 1:00 PM. in the Dugger Cemetery with Pastor Randy Raney officiating. Burial will immediately follow. There will be no public viewing or funeral service. Betty is in the care of Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.
