Betty June (Weaver) Padgett, 89, of Linton, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Linton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on January 9, 1924 to Floyd W. and Martha Pearl (Angleton) Weaver. Betty married James Followell and after his passing she married Cletus C. Padgett on December 20,1945.

Betty attended the 12th Street Church of God and the Samaria Church. She was retired from the General Electric Plant in Linton.

Betty is survived by: two sons, Cletus Padgett and Matthew (Brenda) Padgett and one daughter, Diana (Curt) Todd, all of Linton; 6 Grandchildren, Brad Todd, Beth Todd Landis, Kevin Padgett, Gwen Padgett, Scott Padgett and Mike Padgett; 12 Great-Grandchildren, Josh Todd, Tiffany Todd, Jacob Landis, Katelynn Todd, Luke Landis, Kelsie Todd, Alicia Padgett, Kevin Padgett, Nicholas Padgett, Kaulin Padgett, Kole Padgett and Brandon Padgett; and two brothers, Donald Weaver of Linton and Jerry (Shirley) Weaver of Beech Grove, IN.

Betty was preceded in death by: her parents; her husbands, James L. Followell and Cletus C. Padgett; one grandson, Jeffrey C.Todd; three brothers, William Bub, Hallie and Jim Weaver and one son, Alan Padgett.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Gary Shaw officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 17th and from 10:00 AM until hour of service on Saturday, May 18th.
