Betty G. Ramsey, 85, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Bedford, Indiana, to Ralph and Minnie C. (Bledsoe) Riggle on September 1, 1924. Betty was first married to Bob Alsman (who preceded in death in 1973), and secondly to Cecil Ramsey (who preceded in death in 1981).

Betty worked at RCA in Bloomington in the Repair Division for 24 years and retired in 1973.

She is survived by a daughter, Janice (Michael) Finley of Warsaw; one son, Jack Alsman of Linton; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one daughter, Jo Ann Hobbs, two sons: Larry and Michael Alsman, one brother and two sisters.

The funeral service will be held at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel on Wednesday, July 28th, 2010, at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Russell Black officiating. Interment will follow at the Samaria Cemetery in Dugger, IN.

Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the funeral home and on Wednesday, July 28, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.

The family has entrusted Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN with all arrangements.
