Betty L. Wolfe, 73, of Linton, IN, passed from this life and met Jesus on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, IL, on September 1, 1938, to Ignatius Nicholas and Adeline (Wettstein) Sowka. She was united in marriage with Jack R. Wolfe on December 15, 1984.

Betty was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed working with her flowers and was an awesome cook who loved baking and preparing meals for family gatherings.

Survivors include her husband, Jack R. Wolfe, a son Nick (Sue) Duytschaver of Linton; a daughter Beth Duytschaver of Linton; two grandchildren: Michael Auberry and Tyler Hurd; three grt. grandchildren: Abigail Auberry, Makenzie Auberry, and Michael Ray Auberry; a sister Bernice Denman of Linton; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a son Rick Duytschaver (8/15/2011), one brother Nicholas Savian, and a sister Joanie Sowka.

For those who wish to make memorial contributions, the family has requested the American Cancer Society/Susan B. Koman and St. Jude Children's Hospital, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 23, 2012, with Pastor David Swalls officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 23, 2012.
