Billy T. McKinney, Sr., 84, of Linton, passed away February 13, 2010, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born on June 6, 1925 in Linton, IN, to Thomas Henry and Mabel G. (Suthard) McKinney.

Billy was employed with the United States Postal Service, at the Linton office, for 40 years, until his retirement in 1982.

Billy served with the United States Navy in W.W. II.

Survivors include his children, one son, Billy T. (Jennifer) McKinney, Jr. of Lyons; two daughters, Leah S. (Tom) Gamble of Jasonville and Emily K. Earle of Linton; 6 grandchildren; Travis McKinney, Courtney Beel, Phillip Cox, Melissa Duncan, Jacob Earle and Steven Earle and 17 great-grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents.

The family of Billy T. McKinney is following his wishes with cremation.
