Obituary

Bobby G. Nail, 79, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with loved ones beside him, on Friday, December 13, 2019 in Florida. He was born on July 11, 1940 in Elnora, Indiana to Eli and Irene (Wilson) Nail. Bobby married May Mary (Shoptaw) Nail on November 16, 1974.


Bobby was a US Army and US Army Reserves veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #22. He worked as a welder at Baseloid Products and at construction before retiring. Bobby enjoyed fishing and woodworking.


Family left to cherish the memory of Bobby include: son, Randall R. (Lori) Nail of Milton, FL; step-children, Jackie Felker and Susan Feutz; four step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren and sister, Wanda (Larry) Woodruff of Odon.


Bobby was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, May Nail; granddaughter, Breann Northcutt; brothers, Melvin, Richard and Norman Nail; sisters, Ellen Wright and Delores Lynn.


A graveside service honoring the life of Bobby will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Bobby will be laid to rest following military graveside rites by the American Legion Post #22.


Family and friends may call from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM on Friday at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton.
