Bonnie L. Jeffrey, 63, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away Monday, April 27, 2009, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, Indiana. Born in Marshall, IL, on March 14, 1946, she was the daughter of Earl Bays and Ruth J. Moody.

Bonnie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Robert Wm. Scott Jeffrey of Jasonville, IN; four daughters, Angela Jeffrey, Shelly Jeffrey, Krista Lee Diane Jeffrey, all of Linton and Barbie (Jason) Lawson of Madison, IN; three grandchildren; four brothers, Earl Bays, Bob Bays, Michael Bays all of Alton, IL, and Jerry Bays of Terre Haute, IN; three sisters, Cathy Brock of Jasonville, IN, Barbara Bays of Sullivan, IN and Myrna Bays of Terre Haute, IN.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Wendell Bays and her grandparents.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in memory of Bonnie.

Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 30, 2009. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday, with Bishop Joe Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Sassafras Cemetery in Linton, Indiana.
