Brandon Michael Blanton, 31, of Sandborn, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 13th, 2015. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana on November 4th, 1983 to Michael Jay and Karen J. (Ferguson) Blanton. Brandon married his sweetheart, Dainielle N. Mowery on October 3rd, 2003.

Brandon was employed as a coal hauler at Triad Mine for the last two years. His ambition was coal mining and he enjoyed those he worked with. Brandon loved fishing, spending time with his children and his two dogs and helping people.

Survivors include: his wife, Dainielle Blanton; daughter, Destiny Blanton; son, Gage Blanton; his parents, Jay and Karen Blanton; two brothers, Benjamin (Annie) Blanton and Bradlee Blanton, all of Sandborn; his in-laws, Randy Mowery of Linton and Dana Mowery of Sandborn; grandparents, William Ferguson of Sandborn and Gerald and Joanne Blanton of Linton; aunt, Sue Ann (John) Preble of Linton and several nieces and nephews.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Myers Ferguson and uncle, Ricky Ferguson.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Bryan Sanders officiating. Brandon will be laid to rest at the Sandborn Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
