Brian L. Jackson, 50, of Linton, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. He was born on October 20, 1962 to Larry and Lois (Laughlin) Jackson. On May 9, 1992, Brian married Ann E. (Pierce) Jackson.

Brian was a member of the Linton First Christian Church. He was a pipe fitter with Graves Plumbing for 33 years and was a member of the Pipe Fitters and Steam Fitters Local #157. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, son and brother. Brian enjoyed watching his children play sports and was very proud of them. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and visiting with friends and family.

Survivors are: his wife, Ann; one son, Pierce A. Jackson; one daughter, Jannae R. Jackson; his parents, Larry and Lois Jackson; one brother, Brent (Kristi) Jackson and one sister, Robin (Brad) Fulford, all of Linton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Scholarship fund for his children through the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 PM on Thursday, September 26 with the Rev. Michael Roth officiating. A Private graveside service will be held at 10:30 on Friday at the Fairview Cemetery. There will be no viewing or service at the funeral home on Friday.

Family and friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel on Thursday from 3:30 PM until the time of service at 8:30 PM.
