Brian W. Mason, 25, of Linton, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, as a result of a work related accident. He was born on March 20, 1985, in Sullivan, IN, to Charles "Chuck" W. and Darla S. (Bowers) Mason.

Brian worked for Dewey Trucking at the Triad Mine in Freelandville

Survivors include his parents; fiance, Kyllie Z. Jerrell of Linton; two daughters, Breleigh Mason and Layla Garwood at home; two sisters, Ashlee Mason and Hannah Mason, both of Linton; maternal grandparents, Joe and Bee Bowers of Bloomfield; maternal grandfather, Joe McCombs and paternal grandmother, Mildred Mason, both of Linton; nephews, Dylan and Drake Meador and special friend, Raymon Meador, who is Ashlee's fiance; also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl Mason, maternal grandmother, Janet McCombs and Pauline Orender, paternal great-grandparents, Sam and Agnes Parks, and one aunt, Cindy Lou Mason.

Visitation hours will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Visitation will continue from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Saturday, September 4, 2010.

Funeral services will be held at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 4, 2010, with James Stone officiating. Interment will follow at a later time.
