Bishop Bruce Campbell, 44 of Sullivan, passed from this life at 1:50 PM Thursday, May 24, 2007 at his residence. Born in Lamont, CA, on November 8, 1962, he was the son of Boots and Betty Lou (Burgess) Campbell. On April 24, 1982 he married Angela M. Terry.

Bishop Campbell was a minister for 26 years and pastored Souls Harbor Church in Shelburn, IN, for 13 years.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Angela M. (Terry) Campbell, one son Bryan J. Campbell and daughter, Elizabeth M. Campbell both at home, his father and step mother Boots (Shirley) Campbell of Reeds Spring, MO, two sisters, Diana L. Hart of Bakersfield, CA and Donna Ruth Hensley of Brookings, OR.

He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Lou Campbell.

Friends may call at Souls Harbor Church in Shelburn, IN from 4:00 to 9:00 PM Monday, May 28, 2007, and from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 1:00 PM with Elders Michael Couch and Johnny Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow at Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Souls Harbor Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 92, Shelburn, IN 47879. The Campbell family has entrusted Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel with all arrangements.
