Carol L. Frederick, 89, of Vincennes, Indiana, peacefully went to Heaven, with loved ones by her side, at the home of her daughter, Joan, on Thursday, March 10, 2016. She was born in Sullivan, Indiana on February 3, 1927 to Oscar E. and Jessie M. (Brenton) Rinard. Carol became the wife of George E. Frederick on May 13, 1944.

Carol retired from Ordinance at Crane in 1978. She enjoyed helping others, traveling with her daughters, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving family members include: two daughters, Georgia C. Marshall of Plymouth and Mary Joan (David) Morwood of Vincennes; six grandchildren, Michael Marshall, Jennifer Houin, Kimberly Mael, Mitsy Halbert, Shawn Morwood and Gary Marshall; eight great-grandchildren, Justin, Megan, Amber, Ashley, Kayla, Kara, Issac, Brittany and one great-great-granddaughter, Kylie.

Carol was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Rev. Jim Berry officiating. Carol will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery in Sandborn.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, March 13 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
