Carol S. White, 79, of Linton, IN, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Glenburn Nursing Home. She was born February 24, 1934, to Ralph L. and Ilene (Mitchell) Bedwell in Linton, IN. She married Donnie R. White on November 11, 1950.

Carol worked for 30 years as the Office Manager of the BMV Linton Branch. She was a member of the Linton First Christian Church and served as the Precinct Committee Person for Stockton #1. She was also a Past President of the Republican Women's Club.

Survivors include her sons, Robin R. White and Tracy J. White both of Linton; 5 grandchildren: Waylon, Brittany, Jessica, Donald and Dylan White; a sister, Debbie Shake of Linton, and a niece Ashley Miller.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie R. White and her parents.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, with Warren Shake officiating. Interment will follow at Dog Island Cemetery in Lyons, IN.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
