Carolyn D. Rooksberry, 70, of Plainfield, IN, and formerly of Linton, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012, at her residence. She was born on April 18, 1941, in Linton, IN, to Roy V. and Irene (Faidherbe) Stewart.

Carolyn worked at Shield's Hardware and Supply and retired in 2005.

Carolyn is survived by three daughters: A. Marie Frabutt of AZ, Malene McLain of Terre Haute, IN, and Mindy Tuceryan of Plainfield, IN; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 brothers: Paul Stewart of Oklahoma City, OK, and Eugene Stewart of Chickasaw, AL.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael Rooksberry, and a sister Theda Richardson.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Rev. Gary Shaw officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, prior to the funeral service.
