Cathy Louise (Harper) Dowers, 64, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Linton, Indiana on February 22, 1953 to Ralph and Verna (Dove) Harper.

Cathy was a registered nurse at Terre Haute Regional Hospital for 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed.

Survivors include: two daughters, Jennifer (Jim) Robertson of Camby, IN and Jessica Medley of Terre Haute; five grandchildren, Harper, Isabella, Sophia, A.J. and Amelia; two brothers, Don (Judy) Harper of Linton and Max E. (Alice) Harper of Marion, IN; one sister, Yvonne Rose (Jim) Edmondson of Kissimmee, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Trinity Erin Medley-Marshall.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Tim Ferree officiating. Cathy will be laid to rest in Switz City Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, May 12 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
