Charles A. Brickman, 71, of Linton, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008, in Linton, Indiana. He was born in Blaine County, OK, on November 4, 1936, to Ezra and Lyda (Schuber) Brickman. Charles married Linda Bragg on February 7, 1981.

Charles was an aircraft worker, retiring in September of 1995.

Survivors include his sons, Charles Brickman, Jr. of Pueblo, CO and Richard Brickman of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Dawn Brickman of LaMirada, CA; grandchildren: Xypher, Vanessa, Loren, Alyssa, Majestia and Shawn; stepchildren: Lonnie Campbell of Linton, Sherry Lynn of Joplin, MO, Joseph Levine of Copras Cove, TX, and Jerry Levine of Riverside, CA; stepgrandchildren: Kenny & Ryan Campbell and Trisha & Nathaniel Levine.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda, on August 25, 2005 and one daughter.

The family has requested memorial contributions to be made to Vista Care Hospice.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel Thursday, October 30, 2008, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Harold Throckmartin officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Indiana.
