Charles L. Orman, age 69, of Jasonville, IN, died on Tuesday June 06, 2006 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. He was born on August 15, 1936 to Roy and Sarah (Fulford) Orman. He married Carmen (Connie) deGarteiz on July 10, 1959 in Madrid, Spain. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served from 1955 to 1960. Charles was retired from Citizen's Gas Company where he worked as a pipeline maintenance specialist.
He is survived by spouse, Carmen "Connie" Orman of Jasonville, IN; two daughters, Cindy (Keith) Franklin and Christy (Kevin) Lehman both of Linton, IN; One son, Louie Orman of Smyrna, TN; six grandchildren, Brandy Franklin Gibson, Brooke Franklin Ward, Charli Lehman, Colbi Lehman, Aubri Lehman, and Ashley Orman; two great grandchildren, Dreyden Ward and Gabriel Gibson; three brothers, Paul Orman and Willard Orman both of Linton, and Jim Orman of Ohio; and two sisters, Myrtle Cox of Linton and Elsie Hays of Connersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Herb, Herald, and Herschel and a sister, Rose Neff.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Gregg Orman officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.
