Charles E. Reburn, 76, of rural Linton, passed from this world, peacefully, and entered Heaven, on Sat., July 30th, 2016. He was born in Mt. Carmel, IL, on Oct. 13th, 1939, the son of William Gordia and Violia (Engle) Reburn.  On July 28th, 1978, 'Chuck' married Nancy A. Martin and they had three children.

Chuck was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam Era.  He worked at RCA for 17 years, owned & operated Reburn TV, and also worked at Crane for 22 years as an Electronic Technician.  He retired in 2000 to enjoy his hobbies which included coaching Girls' Summer League Softball, playing golf, and fishing.  Chuck was a member of the Linton First Christian Church, American Legion Post #22, and both the Linton & Crane Bass Clubs. He was, also, a former member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute.

Survivors include: his wife, Nancy Reburn; son, Ronald E. (Raquel) Reburn of Nampa, ID; daughters, Angela (Joey) McWhorter of Bloomington, IN, and Kelly Reburn of Linton, IN; 3 grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsy McWhorter and Kassidee Kleist.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Thurs., Aug. 4th, 2016, at the Linton First Christian Church, with Warren Shake officiating.  Chuck will be laid to rest in the Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn, IN, with Military Graveside Rites conducted by Linton American Legion Post #22.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Wed., Aug., 3rd, 2016, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel and from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Thurs., Aug. 4th at the Linton First Christian Church.

The family has requested that contributions be made to the Linton First Christian Church or the American Cancer Society in Chuck's memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
