Charles W. Weaver, 70, of Lyons, IN, passed away Monday, October 31, 2011, at his residence in Lyons, IN. He was born on August 6, 1941, in Lyons, IN, to Harry C. and Jessie Alice (Stevens) Weaver. Chuck married Loretta L. Hanson on September 27, 1960.

Chuck retired as a Union Carpenter and then worked as a janitor for WRV School Corporation. His hobbies included being an avid fisherman and riding around on his golf cart.

Survivors include his wife: Loretta Weaver; sons: Bill (Polly) Weaver of Palestine, IL, Terry (Randi) Weaver of Linton; daughters: Glenda Drogich of Linton, Lisa (Scott) Carrie of Wheatland, Tammy Turpin of Linton; 18 grandchildren: Charli (Ryan), Teddy (Trisha), CJ (Maryann), Katie, Jessie, Candi, Toni, Rikki, Danni, Mandy (Josh), Davey, Clay, Katie, Abby, Tyson, Taryn, Cameron, Jesi, Damian ; 5 great-grandchildren: Joshton, Trevon, Brynlee, Landen and Willie. He is also survived by his brother, Larry (Gert) Weaver of Linton and several nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry Weaver, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Thursday.
