40, formerly of Linton, IN passed away Sunday, January 30th, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital. He was the son of Barbara (Padgett) and Charles V. Smith II. Survivers include his mother Barbara of Bloomington, two sisters and brother-in-law; Luann Smith, Annalee and Greg Long all of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Smith II, and grandparents; John Matt and Helen Padgett, Charles Smith I and Lyndie Smith. Charlie graduated with the class of 1983 Linton-Stockton High School while he enjoyed book reading as a hobby. Charlie had been a letter carrier for Linton Postal Service before transferring to the Bloomington Office. Memorial services for family and friends will held 2:00 PM Saturday, Feb.19th, 2005, at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
