Cheryl Ann Alexander, 75, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with family by her side, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at St. Vincent Ascension Hospital in Evansville. She was born on September 10, 1950 in Linton to Cleon and Cora Jean (Burress) Bowman.

Cheryl was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School, Class of 1968. She worked as a hair stylist and then worked at Wal-Mart in Linton as a pharmacy tech before becoming an assistant manager. She was a lifetime member of both the American Legion Post #22 Ladies' Auxiliary and VFW Post #7118 Ladies Auxiliary.

Family left to cherish the memories of Cheryl include: one son, Royce Alexander; one daughter, Jolie Alexander, both of Linton; four grandchildren, Zachery Alexander, William Edmonson III, Austin Honchell and Autumn Cora Ann Alexander, all of Linton; five great-grandchildren, Andrew Alexander, Karter Alexander, Bria Alexander, Hendrix Alexander and Layni Alexander.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. Cheryl will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton at a later date.
