Chester Norman Brown, 88, of Sandborn, passed away surrounded by loved ones, on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Linton, Indiana. He was born on July 1, 1927 in Sullivan, Indiana to Herbert and Lillian (Cooksey) Brown.

Chester was a member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church. He managed a security company and also worked as an electrician at a coal mine before retiring.

Survivors include: three sisters, Tanis Collins, Rita Tribby and Linda Sue Arney; two brothers, James Alton and Harold Alton; Several Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Chester was preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers; one sister; four sons, Michael, Steve, Jerry and Charlie.

Chester will be laid to rest in the Pleasantville Cemetery at a later date.
