Christopher Andrew MeJean, 32, of Elkins, West Virginia, formerly of Linton, passed away on Sun., Nov. 10, 2013, in Elkins. He was born on Dec. 14, 1980, in Sullivan, IN, to Kenneth A. and Tina S. (Smith) MeJean.

Christopher was a Pipe Liner for the Minnesota Pipe Line Co. He was a member of the Pipe Liners Local #798 UA.

Survivors include: his companion, Christy Chabut of Elkins, WV; his mother, Tina S. Grantham of Linton; half-sister, Sierra MeJean of Sullivan; aunts, Lisa Ferree, Robin Shaw and Rebecca MeJean; uncles, Terry Smith, Kim Smith, James MeJean and David MeJean; Cousins, Ryan Smith, Heather Smith, Tera Orman, Tiffany Lundy, Mallory Ferree, April Feutz, Bruce Eberly and several paternal cousins.

Christopher was preceded in death by: his father, Kenneth A. MeJean; grandparents, Lloyd and Lois Smith, David and Lola MeJean; aunt, Gloria (Smith) Holder; half-brother, Zachariah MeJean (5/31/2013) and cousin, Mike Feutz.

Funeral Services will be held on Tues., Nov. 19, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Jim Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at the Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Mon., Nov. 18, and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home in memory of Christopher MeJean to assist with final arrangements.
