Obituary

Clarence H. "Jim" Yagle, 99, of Sandborn, IN, passed away on Sunday morning, February 26th, 2012, at the Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons, IN. He was born in Knox County, IN, on December 24, 1912, to George and Elizabeth (Stinebaugh) Yagle. On March 2, 1935, he took Mable A. (Myers) to be his wife.

Clarence was a farmer by trade. He farmed for 45 years, retiring in 1980. He enjoyed fishing with his wife Mable and spending time with his family and friends. Clarence attended the Sandborn United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Jimmie F. (Judy) Yagle and David W. 'Colonel' Yagle, both of Sandborn; grandchildren: J. (Pam) Yagle of Sandborn, Janessa (Kyle) Crabtree of Avon; great-grandchildren: Nate Yagle and Lacey (Clayton) Ramsey both of Sandborn and Jordan (JoDee Scott) Templeton of Indianapolis; great, great-grandchildren: Madison, Cash and Jayla.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mable (3/18/1985), seven brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wed., Feb. 29th, 2012, at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, with Bryan Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandborn Cemetery.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tues., Feb. 28, 2012, and again on Wed., Feb. 29, 2012, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Sandborn United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
