Cletus D. Bough, 79, of Lyons, Indiana, went to Heaven on February 23, 2014 surrounded by his family at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born in Greene County, Indiana to Orman and Bonnie F. (Bruce) Bough on January 29, 1935. Cletus took Martha J. Bovenschen to be his loving wife on September 1, 1956.

Cletus was employed as a truck driver for 30 years, an engineering x-ray technician for 14 years and was a minister of the gospel for 30 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Community Church of Odon, a Life Member of DAV of Jasper, American Legion Post #224 at Dugger, Korean VeteranA's Association and the USS Princeton SailorA's Association.

Survivors include: his wife, Martha Bovenschen; two sons, Robert Bough of Bedford and Allen (Ann) Bough of Lyons; four daughters, Nelda (Roy) Eddy of Worthington, Regina (Don) Keller of Lyons; Jodeana (Randy) Raney of Vicksburg and Donna (Joe) Shelton of Bloomfield; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Ona (Phyllis) Bough of Lake Alford, FL and one sister, Kathryn Hensley of Worthington.

Cletus was preceded in death by: his parents and two sisters, Betty Mooney and Mary Henderson.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Brother Gerald Devore and Pastor Terry Dowell officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Newberry with full military honors.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26 and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
