Connie L. Hibbard, 65, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009, at her residence. Born in Linton, Indiana, on May 14, 1944, she was raised by her mother Cathern E. (Mathena) and Ralph Holcomb. On May 19, 1965, she married James B. Hibbard, who survives.

Connie worked as a home healthcare nurse's aide and retired in 2007. She was a member of the Howesville Church of God of Prophecy and the Unchained Ministries.

Survivors include her husband James B. Hibbard; one son, Jim Hibbard, Jr. of Brooklyn, IN; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four brothers: Robert 'Gene' E. (Jeanne) Holcomb of Converse, TX, Thomas (Cheryl) Holcomb of Jasonville, IN, Stephen (Charlotte) Holcomb and John Holcomb both of Linton; and one sister Rae Ann (Darrell) McKinley of Jasonville, IN.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Anchored in Faith Church on Monday, October 19, 2009, at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Ron Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call at the Anchored in Faith Church on Monday, from 11:00 until the hour of service at 1:00 PM. The Hibbard family has entrust these arrangements with Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home in Linton.
