Craig A. Jerrell, 30, of Linton, passed away Sunday, September 4, at the Greene County General Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1980, in Sullivan, Indiana, to Jody (Bowers) and Tony Frye, was raised by Billy Dean Jerrell.

Craig attended the Linton First Christian Church and was employed with Neptune Foods, Inc. Craig's hobbies included, playing baseball with his sons, football, fishing, four wheeling, working on cars and enjoying his life.

Survivors include, his mother, Jody Ferree and step-father, Ronald Ferree; two sons, Nolan Jerrell and Peyton Jerrell; fiance', Melissa Hamilton of Linton; sister, Erica (Opie) Gage of Linton; half-sister, Mallory Frye of Linton; two step-sisters, Tiffany (Levi) Lundy of Switz City, Mallory (Drew) Bodine of Linton; brothers, Luke (Christy) Jerrell of Terre Haute, Dusty Jerrell of Linton; half-brother, Brandon Frye of Linton; paternal grandparents, Joe (Beatrice) Bowers of Bloomfield. Craig is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

Craig was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Pauline Orender; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Janet and Donald McCombs and one special cousin, Brian Mason.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with James Stone officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Thursday.
