Curtis Todd, Jr., 80, of Linton, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on, Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his home. He was born on July 14, 1942 in Little Cincinnati, Indiana to Curtis Fred, Sr. and Margie L. (Decker) Todd. Curt married Diana J. (Followell) Todd on November 3, 1961.
Curt was a Past Master and Fifty Year Member of Linton Masonic Lodge #560 F&AM, Financial Secretary and member of UMWA #1410, UMWA District #12 and a member of the Scottish Rites Valley of Terre Haute. He began his career in 1963 as a coal miner, retiring in 2001 with 38 years of service.
Family left to cherish the memories of Curt include: his wife, Diana Todd; son, Brad (Sherrie) Todd of Linton; daughter, Beth (Chris) Stahl of Bloomfield; ten grandchildren, Joshua (Corey) Todd, Tiffany (Katie Graves) Todd, Jacob Landis, Katelynn (Dylan) Hardisty, Luke (Jerrica) Landis, Kelsie Todd, Dylan, Sydney, Abby and Bailey Stahl; four great-grandchildren, Kayden, Elaina, Jaxyn and Nolin; sister, Janice Sue (John) Hale; brothers, Lonnie (Hazel) Todd and Richard 'Corky' (Diana) Todd, all of Pleasantville.
Curt was preceded in death by: his parents, Curtis and Margie Todd and son, Jeffrey C. Todd.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Darren McDonald officiating. Curt will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton following a memorial service presented by the United Mine Workers Association.
Family and friends may gather from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 14 and from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. A Masonic Memorial service will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
